The aim of a Backgammon game is to shift your checkers around the game board and get those pieces off the game board quicker than your challenger who works harder to do the same buthowever they move in the opposite direction. Succeeding in a match of Backgammon needsrequires both strategy and fortune. How far you will be able to move your chips is left to the numbers from tossing the dice, and the way you shift your checkers are decided on by your overall playing plans. Players use a few plans in the different parts of a match depending on your positions and opponent’s.

The Running Game Tactic

The goal of the Running Game plan is to bring all your pieces into your home board and get them off as quick as you could. This technique concentrates on the speed of advancing your checkers with little or no efforts to hit or barricade your competitor’s checkers. The best time to employ this strategy is when you believe you can move your own pieces quicker than the opponent does: when 1) you have a fewer checkers on the game board; 2) all your checkers have past your competitor’s chips; or 3) your opponent doesn’t employ the hitting or blocking technique.

The Blocking Game Plan

The main aim of the blocking strategy, by the name, is to stop your competitor’s checkers, temporarily, not fretting about moving your checkers rapidly. Once you’ve established the blockage for your opponent’s movement with a few pieces, you can move your other chips rapidly off the board. You will need to also have a clear strategy when to withdraw and move the pieces that you utilized for the blockade. The game gets intriguing when your competitor utilizes the same blocking tactic.
